IRR99 Regulation Radiation Signs
DO YOU COMPLY WITH IRR99 REGULATION 18? This legislation places additional requirements to ensure the following – in controlled and supervised areas, suitable and sufficient signs are displayed indicating; a) the TYPE of area (controlled or supervised) b) the NATURE of the radiation source c) the RISK arising from the source.The statutory instrument also requires the prohibition of eating, drinking, smoking and the proper maintenance of washing and changing facilities.
